I am a born and raised San Diego native, with 25 years' experience as a State Farm agent. Prior to starting my agency in 2000, I worked for State Farm as a fire claims adjuster. I have been passionate about State Farm and our customers for almost 35 years now, and it only continues to grow every day. Previously to starting with State Farm, I graduated from SDSU with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. I'm currently a member of the Chamber of Commerce and served on the board for 9 years. I love what I do, and my community. I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to help people protect what matters to them most.

Cinco de Mayo, celebrated on May 5, commemorates the Mexican victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. This vibrant holiday is marked by lively parades, traditional music, delicious food, and cultural festivities that celebrate Mexican heritage and pride.

Mother’s Day, celebrated on the second Sunday of May, is another special occasion to honor and appreciate mothers and maternal figures, often marked by family gatherings and thoughtful gestures.

As we move deeper into spring, many communities engage in gardening, picnics, and various outdoor sports, taking advantage of the beautiful weather. The month is also a time for graduations, as students celebrate their academic achievements and look forward to new beginnings.
